Community Healthy Needs Assessment
In 2015, the Benton-Franklin Community Health Alliance (BFCHA) created a community-wide assessment to evaluate health equity, root causes of disease, and mental health. The aim of this project is to identify important themes and barriers to achieving good health in our community.
"Health means so much more than just the absence of illness, and any discussion or assessment of health must consider the social, economic, and physical environment..."
This is how we respond.
It’s not enough to research ways in which our community’s health could be better. As we continue to grow and expand the medical services we offer, we’re taking the important data uncovered by the Community Health Needs Assessment into account. That way, when we bring in new providers or build new facilities, it’s in direct response to a community need.
