Hospital Volunteers: Providing Essential Services that Benefit the Community
Volunteering is a way to give back to the community, meet new people, and feel good about helping others. As a non-profit hospital, Prosser Memorial Health depends on community health and hospital volunteers to play an integral role in the guest services we offer.
We are always looking for volunteers for the following positions:
Assisting at the information desks
Working at the gift shop
Greeting patients and visitors
Helping in many other departments throughout the hospital
Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and available a minimum of two hours per week for at least three months.
There are a variety of volunteer positions available in departments througout the hospital. Volunteers are trained in specific areas by a department manager or staff member.
To become a Prosser Memorial Health volunteer, or if you have questions about our Volunteer Program, contact Shannon Hitchcock, PMH Community Relations at [email protected] or 509.786.6601.

This is how we honor.
Volunteering is one of the most selfless acts you can do for your community. At Prosser Memorial Health, we applaud all of our hospital volunteers for the time they have dedicated to helping us serve the Prosser community. We couldn’t do it without you!
