Comprehensive Pain Clinic

When you’re living with chronic pain, it can consume your entire life. Your work suffers. You miss out on family time and social events. You just can’t participate in day-to-day life like you used to. We’re here to help you successfully manage chronic pain.

New PMH Comprehensive Pain Management Clinic Opened in 2018

Recognizing the need for comprehensive pain management services in your region, we opened the PMH Comprehensive Pain Management Clinic in 2018, conveniently located adjacent to the Benton City Clinic.

What kind of treatment can I expect at PMH Pain Management Clinic?

When you visit our pain management clinic, you can expect the same great care that you would receive at all Prosser Memorial Health facilities. We’re not satisfied with anything less than accurate, honest, and ethical treatment of your chronic pain. We’ll work with you to understand your condition, find an accurate diagnosis, and come up with a treatment plan that aims for long-term pain relief.

Our pain management clinic is led by board certified physiatrist Dr. John Groner, who specializes in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and pain management with a forward thinking, patient-centered approach.

How does PMH Pain Management Clinic differ from other pain management services?

Chronic pain is a multi-faceted problem that can result from illness, injury, disease, referral pain, or even psychological distress. Getting to the root of your pain is our number one priority because an accurate diagnosis is the first step to a long-term solution.

Our unique approach involves a combination of physical therapy, massage therapy, occupational health, psychological care, injections, and medication management—all designed to work together to address the source of your pain rather than the pain itself. We are one of very few clinics in the region that take this comprehensive approach to pain management, and that’s why we’ve been able to help so many in our community find relief from chronic pain.

Do I need a referral?

Depending on your insurance coverage, you may need a referral from your primary care doctor to see a pain management specialist. Contact your primary care provider, or give us a call 509.588.4075 at to schedule an appointment.

This is how we care.

Around here, caring means more than exceptional medical care at world-class facilities. Care goes beyond the doctor’s office, the hospital, or the HIPAA agreement. To us, care is personal—from the gut, and from the heart. It’s about coming together to mend spirits with personal connections every day.
