Are all the surgeons staffed by Prosser Memorial Hospital?

We have many surgeons and specialists in the Prosser Memorial Health family. However, it's not uncommon for visiting surgeons to come to our facility to perform surgeries—especially for rare or specialty procedures.

Does PMH offer laparoscopic surgery?

As technology advances, surgeons are able to do more and more without making large incisions. At Prosser Memorial Hospital, we use laparoscopic technology in our general surgery procedures whenever possible. Laparoscopic surgeries can be less invasive and easier to recover from than traditional surgeries. They also leave smaller scars—some of which may disappear with time.

Less time on the operating room table, less trauma to the body, and less recovery time for our patients—sounds like a win-win-win for everyone!

Are all of your surgeons board certified?

Because we put a premium on hiring exceptional medical staff, all of the surgeons on staff at Prosser Memorial Health are board certified in their relative fields. This means they have completed rigorous training and met the high standards needed to perform general surgery procedures on patients.

This is how we care.

Around here, caring means more than exceptional medical care at world-class facilities. Care goes beyond the doctor’s office, the hospital, or the HIPAA agreement. To us, care is personal—from the gut, and from the heart. It’s about coming together to mend spirits with personal connections every day.
